The GPC holds commercial general liability insurance coverage that extends to all EDAs and candidates/campaigns. The insurance policy provides liability coverage year round for all EDA activities such as fundraising and public events. Coverage extends to rented table space at events hosted by others or for venues rented by the EDA/campaign for EDA/campaign events. The attached certificate covers EDAs/campaigns for these items.
The coverage does not include events where alcohol is served. You will need additional coverage from the company for these events.
This policy is only for general liability and does not include property or content insurance for offices or Landlord/Tenant Liability. For these types of coverage, separate insurance will need to be sought.
We ask that EDAs contact the insurance company directly instead of going through the National Office. You may be asked for a copy of the policy to prove coverage, in which case you can use the attached certificate.
