Representing Saanich-Gulf Islands on the territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ Nation, she’s worked tirelessly for her community, passing three groundbreaking laws: the Federal Framework on Lyme Disease Act, the ban on cetacean captivity, and the National Strategy Respecting Environmental Racism and Environmental Justice Act.
Before entering politics, Elizabeth built an impressive career as a lawyer, policy advisor, and Executive Director at the Sierra Club of Canada. In Parliament, her dedication has earned her recognition as Parliamentarian of the Year and Most Knowledgeable MP. An Officer of the Order of Canada and one of the UN’s leading women environmentalists, she’s also a best-selling author of eight books.

Hearing the call of the forest and following instructions from Elders of the territories, ancestors and spirit, Angela Davidson, known as Rainbow Eyes, has been a key defender of ancient forests on Vancouver Island, including the old growth forests of ‘Ada’itsx (Fairy Creek), since 2020.
A graduate of Vancouver Island University’s First Nations Stewardship Technical Training program, Angela has spent years safeguarding lands, waters, and cultural values for future generations. She’s also worked to train future guardians and decolonize Indigenous-led stewardship programs.
A cancer survivor and passionate advocate, Angela has been a vital advocate in the Fairy Creek blockade, facing arrest and 60 days of jail time to protect old growth forests from logging and deforestation at the Fairy Creek watershed.
Now, as Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Canada, proudly embracing the more culturally respectful title of Ooh-mah Ah-nise (high ranking woman, Aunty in Kwakʼwala), Angela brings bold, uncompromising leadership to the fight for a sustainable and just future.

Frustrated with watching the federal government ignore climate promises and let down his community, Mike was first inspired to run to represent Kitchener Centre more than a decade after he started Sustainable Waterloo Region – a non-profit social enterprise that helps businesses work together to reduce their environmental impact. Building on the momentum of his first run in 2019 – and with the support of hundreds of volunteers and donors – Mike made history by becoming the first Green MP ever elected in Ontario when he ran again and won in 2021.
While serving as MP, Mike collaborated across party lines to ensure Kitchener Centre’s priorities were reflected in the House of Commons. His legislative work presented solutions to the housing, affordability, and climate crises, and he played a huge role advocating alongside Canadians with disabilities to ensure the new Canada Disability Benefit came to fruition to improve the quality of life for folks living in legislated poverty.
Now, he’s using his platform to amplify his community’s concerns as Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Canada and supporting local charitable organizations through mentorship and coaching to help them maximize their impact.
