Born in Montreal in 1964, Réjean Monette is the ninth child in a family of ten. His childhood and adolescence took him across the northern crown of the Laurentians from Val-David to Sainte-Agathe and then to Saint-Jérôme. Réjean got married at 19 and is the proud father of five children.

Réjean studied marketing in Ahuntsic and worked in the media for TC Transcontinental for 30 years. He has held the positions of sales consultant, publisher, regional director and general manager of digital operations. Following his long career, he joined his son and invested with him in a web agency in Terrebonne in 2014.

Throughout his career, Réjean has enjoyed serving various causes, including as a member of the Lions Club of Sainte-Thérèse for 20 years, president of the Chamber of Commerce in 2000/2001 and as president of the Laurentian Harvest in 2005.

Today, it is for his seven grandchildren that Réjean wants to get involved in environmental activism. He wants them to be able to live on a healthy planet, and would like to use his communication skills to popularize the changes in habit that are necessary to confront the climate crisis. He wants to work to develop a green and profitable economy where members of the community are proud and excited to participate.
