Keith Wiley for Green Party Executive

Canada desperately needs the voice of a committed environmentalist party that is ready to tell the truth about the environmental crises our planet faces. A party that is ready to say unequivocally what actions we need to take to truly face up to these crises. Right now that party in Canada can only be the Green Party. That makes it imperative that we have a full leadership review and get back on mission.

We should not be distracted by controversies that can only embroil us in conflicts, while not aiding our main electoral and environmental goals. However, neither can we turn a blind eye to injustice, violence and war crimes. And we must face down intimidation tactics that would silence our voices for truth and justice.

I am seeking the Vice-President English position on the Federal Council to help put the present controversy behind us. We can restore the collaborative Green Party ethic and the grassroots and democratic practices that give our Party so much of its strength.

I am a life-long environmental and political activist. Most recently for the last ten years I've been organizing resistance to pipelines, and old-growth logging. I volunteer as a co-host of a weekly environmental politics radio show (listen at TheEcoCentricRadioShow.ca). I recently sought the Party’s nomination in the Kootenay-Columbia BC riding.
