Grace Zhu is a 16-year-old high school student who is passionate about political activism. Grace has been a part of the Green Party since 2018, where she first volunteered on Mike Schreiner's provincial campaign. In the 2019 Federal Election, Grace was Youth Coordinator for the Oakville Green Party. Currently, she is the Youth Ambassador and Social Media Coordinator for the Oakville EDA.

Outside of the Green Party, Grace attends White Oaks Secondary School as an 11th grade student in the International Baccalaureate program, a rigorous internationally recognized academic certification. An honor roll student, Grace is very involved in her school community; she is a member of White Oaks Model UN, competes on the track and field team, and holds an executive position in the Law and Mock Society. Grace is also an accomplished debater who specializes in the British Parliamentary and Canadian Parliamentary formats. She won the Junior Debate Nationals in 2018. She has competed and placed in numerous university run debate tournaments and was a Semi Finalist at McGill 2018, Semi Finalist at UBC 2019, and was most recently a Finalist at Queens 2020. Her extensive involvement within her school and debate has prepared her as a leader and excellent communicator. Now she wishes to use this experience to grow the Green profile with other young people in Oakville, in Ontario, and in all of Canada.
