OTTAWA – R\u00e9cemment, l'ancien ministre de la Justice, Irwin Cotler, pr\u00e9sident du Centre Raoul Wallenberg pour les droits de l'homme, a cit\u00e9 son ami aujourd’hui d\u00e9funt, l'extraordinaire historien canadien Irving Abella, co-auteur de « None is too many », en disant que « juste apr\u00e8s la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il \u00e9tait plus facile d'entrer au Canada si vous \u00e9tiez nazi que si vous \u00e9tiez juif ».<\/p>
La v\u00e9racit\u00e9 de cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9e avec une clart\u00e9 horrifiante lors des \u00e9v\u00e9nements du 22 septembre au Parlement.<\/p>
Il est incontestablement tr\u00e8s tard, mais comme le Centre Simon Wiesenthal et d'autres le pensent, le Parti vert du Canada appelle le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral \u00e0 rouvrir les dossiers de la Commission Desch\u00eanes qui a enqu\u00eat\u00e9 sur la pr\u00e9sence de criminels de guerre nazis au Canada.<\/p>
Nous soutenons donc l'appel \u00e0 la publication des dossiers non censur\u00e9s li\u00e9s \u00e0 la Commission Desch\u00eanes, et appelons le gouvernement \u00e0 prendre des mesures significatives pour faire face \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 brutale qu'il y a encore d'anciens nazis ayant du sang sur les mains vivant au Canada.<\/p>
