HALIFAX — The Green Party of Canada extends warm wishes to everyone celebrating the Christmas holiday.
“Today, millions of people around the world will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with their families, friends and communities,” said Green Party Interim Leader Jo-Ann Roberts. “It is a joyous moment in the year for many, however, for some it can be a lonely time. Take a moment during this holiday season to reach out to those less fortunate — share a meal, a gift, a kind word. Kindness and generosity of spirit reflect the teachings of Jesus.”
