On the occasion of his birthday, we can all reflect on how one person can make a significant difference in the world, by remembering to be always compassionate and respectful,” said May.
The Dalai Lama turned 75 on Tuesday, July 6. The Buddhist spiritual leader has been in exile for over fifty years from his home in Tibet. “I have had the honour of meeting with His Holiness on two occasions through my work with the Canada Tibet Committee and have seen firsthand how he is able to engage and motivate everyone he meets to do whatever we can to make the world a better place for all.”
