Saint-Léonard—Saint-Michel

Alessandra Szilagyi is a graduate of Concordia University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Human Environment and a Minor in Political Science. An avid volunteer with a passion for environmental justice, she frequently dedicates her time to public education and sustainability initiatives.

Over the last 3 years, Alessandra has worked closely with her community on a variety of projects related to green activism. Specifically, she helped Écoquartier de Saint-Léonard on a variety of public education campaigns related to reducing food waste and improving recycling rates.

Alessandra is proud to be part of a new generation of environmentally-conscious leaders, and is excited to use this campaign as an opportunity to connect with community members who are ready to build a more sustainable, prosperous and equitable future.
