Sandra Mara Riedo is a 40-year-old electronics engineer. She was born in Curitiba in southern Brazil and immigrated to Canada in 2009. She currently works as a software quality analyst in a company located in Lévis. She lives in Ancienne Lorette with her husband and loves dancing, art and sharing cultures. Very involved in her local community as a volunteer, she ran for politics for the first time in 2018 by wearing the colours of the Green Party of Quebec in the riding of La Peltrie.

Passionate about the environment and social justice since childhood, Sandra has been involved in politics to build a greener and more equitable future for all Canadians. If elected, she is committed to working hard to achieve several sustainable transportation projects in the region. As she once lived in Germany, where public transit is much more developed than in Quebec, she is convinced that Quebec could do a lot better in this area by improving traffic flow and reducing GHG emissions.

For Sandra, every vote cast on behalf of the Green Party of Canada helps the environmental movement to reach agreement in the federal parliament and demonstrates that the Greens' ideas resonate with the public. The climate crisis requires urgent action and Sandra would be honoured to have your support.
