Réjean Malette has lived in Dorval since 1993. He has been married for 26 years and has three grown-up children. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant who has been working for a Quebec company since 2009.
Réjean is part of a team of financial analysts who assess the profitability of projects such as: developing new products, implementing new production lines, or modifying existing products and business proposals.
Currently, he is enrolled in a master's degree in environmental studies in order to strengthen his knowledge in this field. Within two years, he would like to work in this field either as a Member of Parliament or as a special advisor.
His passion for the environment is not new, as he already operated a small store selling ecological cleaning products from 2007 to 2010, which was located in Dorval. Réjean also ran in the provincial elections in his riding in 2007 and 2008 for the Green Party of Quebec. He is also consistent with his actions: he drives an electric car (Nissan Leaf), buys his vegetables from an organic producer and takes care of his environment by recycling and composting home waste.
Réjean believes in social engagement to change Canadian policies to build a healthy environment for our children and for future generations. He is involved in politics to further preserve the quality of our environment. He is dedicated to fighting climate change, preserving biodiversity and improving the quality of life for all Canadians.
