It’s sickening. In the middle of a climate emergency, Andrew Scheer, Doug Ford and Jason Kenney are combining forces to push their pro-pipeline agenda and attack our environment. Their anti-science disinformation campaign is designed to trick Canadians, hoard power and stall meaningful climate action.
This Conservative coalition, their reckless policies and shameful political theatre are on the wrong side of history. This comes as the need for decisive climate action has never been more dire. We need to push back with an immediate counter-campaign with a clear message: we won’t stand for this affront to people, democracy or environment.
Kenney is touring the country to rally support for his pipe dreams. Ford, after making some of the most atrocious public service and environmental cuts ever seen, just vacated Queen’s Park for 5 months to join Scheer on the campaign trail.
And it’s all to keep as much power in the hands of their Conservative Boys Club as possible.
A massive petition is the first step in our counter-campaign to let these Con Boys know that voters aren’t fooled by ridiculous publicity stunts and million dollar anti-climate advertising campaigns.
