Greens only party to improve on '06 election standing: latest Angus Reid poll headline

The Angus read poll released on August 4 points out that “The Greens are the only political party to improve from their 2006 federal election numbers."

Elizabeth has the highest net approval rating of all the political leaders. (percentage of respondents who approve subtracting percentage respondents who disapprove).

The poll also notes that the economy is the top issue (21%); environment is a very close second (20%); health care 3rd (19%); the drops off sharply to poverty (7%); energy and electricity (6%)
