I am proud to stand for Ontario Representative on the Green Party’s Federal Council. Like many of you, I come to the Green Party from involvement in other parties. In my case, I volunteered and worked for the Liberal Party of Canada until 1998.

For several years I wasn’t active in politics but came to realize we must focus on saving our environment and changing how we do government in Canada. For me, the Green Party offers the best way to effect that change.

I bring a wealth of political experience at municipal, provincial and federal levels spanning 35 years. I’ve held volunteer positions in EDA’s, headed party field organizations, and managed election campaigns, including Claire Martin’s 2015 campaign in North Vancouver.

Through my work on the Green Party’s 2019 national campaign I know how our party works. I believe we can build on the solid results we achieved in 2019 – 162 EDA’s doubled their vote, and 49 got over 10% of the vote – to expand our organizational strength across the country.

We know the Green Party is best positioned to tackle the environmental issues that threaten our planet. But we need to prove to Canadians that we are ready and able to govern, that we have solid financial and social policies, and that we offer a more collaborative and effective way of governing.

As your Representative I will commit my efforts to working with the EDA’s to grow our party in Ontario. I ask for your support.
