Lia Renaud is an energetic consultant who has a track record of producing results and managing multiple projects/teams. She specializes in sustainable business strategy and the circular economy vision in Atlantic Canada.

Her undergraduate education is in Social Justice and Peace Studies and Sociology. Lia pursued studies in this area because she wanted to act as a political and social critic and become an agent for progressive social transformation. Her post-graduate studies are in business administration, project management, disability management, lean management, and psychological health and safety.

Lia’s social consciousness and views toward social responsibility have positively impacted her work environments and the economic performance of organizations.

Lia has extensive governance experience having served on multiple boards, in various roles (currently Chairs the Governance Committee on a National Board). She is comfortable working with cross-cultural groups and understands the complexities of intersectionality.

In the past year, Lia has been Campaign Manager for both Federal and Provincial Green Party Candidates (Lil MacPherson Ivan Drouin). Lia is a founding member of the first Electoral District Association for the Provincial Green Party of Nova Scotia in Truro-Bible Hill- Millbrook-Salmon River. She currently serves as the Membership Director.

Lia chose to move to Nova Scotia to live near family nearly a decade ago. She has lived in three regional municipalities (Colchester, King’s, HRM), and understands the challenges of both urban and rural communities. She believes the cure for anything is saltwater and enjoys spending summer days at the beautiful beaches in Nova Scotia.
