“I welcome Ms. Ambrose as the new Conservative Interim Leader and look forward to working with her on issues that are important to Canadians.
“Canadians would prefer a more respectful and collaborative parliament.
“Once parliament resumes, we have a lot of work to do. I enjoyed a constructive working relationship with Rona Ambrose over many years when she was in cabinet and am sure we will be able to continue to do so in opposition.”
