Bruce Hyer, Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Canada and candidate (Thunder Bay-Superior North), joins members of Thunder Bay’s Citizens United for a Sustainable Planet (CUSP) at a rally on Monday evening to protest the proposed Energy East Tar Sands dilbit pipeline. Thunder Bay City Council will consider a motion this evening to oppose the pipeline.
Event Details:
When: At 6:00 pm (EDT) protesters link arms in a human chain to show opposition to the proposed pipeline; at 6:15 pm, they proceed to the visitors' gallery to watch the Council meeting and the vote on the motion.
