Elizabeth May and Paul Manly to host an Earth Day celebration in Nanaimo, B.C.

NANAIMO, B.C. -- The Leader of the Green Party of Canada Elizabeth May (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands) and Paul Manly, the party’s candidate in Nanaimo-Ladysmith, will host a Community Earth Day celebration in Nanaimo, B.C. this Saturday.

Green Party candidates Racelle Kooy (Victoria), and David Merner (Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke) will be on hand for the event which will feature special guest speakers and live music by: The Big Mess, Rick Scott,  Emerald Specks (Lena Birtwistle), Laura Kelsey, Tony Turner and more!

“The rally will focus on climate and the huge role being played by young people in the fight to save their future, ” said Green Party Leader Elizabeth May (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands). “With voters in Nanaimo Ladysmith going to the polls May 6th, they have a real chance to change the priority of climate for all the federal parties.”
