Yvonne Potter Pihach nominated as Green Party of Canada candidate in Battlefords-Lloydminster

(OTTAWA) – The Green Party of Canada is pleased to announce the nomination of Yvonne Potter as its candidate for the upcoming by-election in Battlefords-Lloydminster.

“Yvonne’s many years of community leadership on a number of important social issues, and her in-depth knowledge and experience around agricultural issues in Saskatchewan, make her an excellent candidate both for her constituency and the Green Party,” says Elizabeth May (MP, Saanich-Gulf Islands), Leader of the Green Party of Canada.

Yvonne works in the agricultural sector as an agricultural inspector, which enables her to travel across the province. She is also a passionate advocate for greater access to midwifery services in Saskatchewan, is a Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) Sighted Guide Volunteer, and is the Executive Secretary of the Saskatchewan Green Party.
