Elizabeth May and Candidates Celebrate Fathers and Indigenous Cultures – Sunday, June 21

(OTTAWA) -  Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP (Saanich – Gulf Islands), along with Green Party candidates Fran Hunt-Jinnouchi (Cowichan – Malahat – Langford) and Lynne Quarmby (Burnaby North – Seymour), will hold a community event on Father’s Day and National Aboriginal Day this Sunday, in Duncan B.C.

Ms. May and candidates will celebrate fathers and the rich and diverse cultures of Indigenous peoples in Canada.

The event will feature presentations from Joe Thorne, Duncan School Board Trustee and father, and Hwiemtun (Fred Roland), Member of the Cowichan First Nations.
