High Level Panel: Paris en décembre?
Why Canadians should care about the outcome of the Paris meeting on climate
November 17, 2015- Ottawa. Two weeks before the COP21 meeting in Paris, the Canadian Coalition on Climate Change and Development (C4D) and the Canadian Council for International Co-operation (CCIC) are co-organizing an event to discuss the global and Canadian perspectives on climate change, as well as future perspectives on what is at stake and the level of engagement needed.
What: A three part panel discussion with representatives from academia, civil society organizations, political parties, diplomatic corps and others, will discuss the challenges faced by the global community ahead of COP-21, proposals that will be put on the table and the level of engagement required by state and non-state actors.
When: Thursday November 19, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:30pm. A networking reception will follow.
Where: The Panorama Room of the National Arts Centre, Ottawa.
