Mobilizing Team - Vetter

Reports to: Director of Mobilizing 
Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Work from home from various locations across Canada
Job Type: Short term contract position. The successful applicant will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week. Some evening/weekend work may be required.

The GPC is a federal political party with two great MPs and lots of supporters. In 2020 we elected a new leader.

We are carving out a niche in Canadian politics with a unique message and lots of hard work.

Strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as well as a demeanor that is both professional and personable.

Excellent organizational and administrative skills required. Bilingual (French/English) preferred, but unilingual English only candidates will be considered.

The successful candidate will work well under pressure and look forward to a fast-paced, high energy work environment.

Job Description

The vetter is required to:

  • Telephone applicant references and conduct a recorded zoom interview with the applicant
  • Review candidate application forms
  • Prepare and submit a checklist for each candidate
  • Follow up and research on the candidates as needed
  • Identify any issues, determine next steps and take action as necessary
  • Update candidate information in database
