A community-minded and environmental-protective person. I believe in supporting grassroots organizations where I live to preserve the environment, history, and future. I believe there should be a Federal Environment program the provinces should be asked to implement and preserve the environment.

Recycling programs vary from city to city. even province to province. Some have you separate cans, plastic, and paper along with your wet garbage for composting, others do the bare minimum. This needs to change to protect our future. National business-like should ensure their recyclable items and plastic lids do not go to the landfill and are properly recycled. But each night they go in the trash, grocery stores should send them to a compost program for rotten vegetables so they can turn them
into something useful.
