What it's like to be a Candidate — with Jo-Ann Roberts
(7:00pm Eastern) What it's like to be a Candidate: Join Green Party of Canada Deputy Leader, Jo-Ann Roberts, in a lively discussion about what it is like to be a Green Party candidate today. Jo-Ann ran in the Victoria riding in 2015 and came within a few percentages of winning. She will share with us her experiences on the campaign trail, working with volunteers, debates, and dealing with the media.

Monday, June 17
Effective Canvassing
(7:00pm Eastern) Effective Canvassing:
Join Eryn Sylvester and Eric Sizer for a conversation about canvassing with effectiveness and with purpose. The best kind of communication is face to face; people talking to people. It's not always possible, but the most profound way to connect with people and voters is through in person conversations, and the most important part of a campaign is identifiying the vote. It's good news for Greens because this is our secret sauce: friendly, respectful, inspiring ambassadors.

We'll cover:
- Conversation starters
- How to develop a connection with the voter
- How to ask without really asking
- Closing the conversation while leaving the door open
- How to train others to canvass
- Planning your canvass with purpose
