Saturday, April 21, 2018 - 9:00 to 14:00 EDT

Event Description

Elizabeth will be joining the Rotary Club of Guelph for Planting Day 2018 at the Rotary Forest at Guelph Lake! The Rotary Club is on year 10 of planting the Rotary Forest - 40 hectares of forest is being established at Guelph Lake! Just two more years until the forest is complete in 2020.

Come by Guelph Lake on Saturday and plant a Rotary Forest tree! Volunteers are on site to provide refreshing water, shovels and training on how to get your trees off to a great start - plant as many as you like!

Getting there:

1. Drive or bike to Lakeside Church on Conservation Road at Guelph Lake. There is free parking there and shuttles running all day to and from the site.

2. Take the free Rotary Forest Bus from Platform 15 at the downtown Guelph Central Station. Shuttle leave at 9am, 10am, 11am or 12 noon. Last bus returns about 2pm.
