Jean Rousseau

Candidate Biography

I have campaigned all my life for better social, economic and environmental issues. I have more than 15 years of experience in active politics and was elected to the House of Commons in 2011. I have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from Laval University and studied Economics at Sherbrooke's Campus. I was Vice-President of a local CSN unit in 1999 and 2000. I want a better synergy between the different instances of the Party as well as a greater cooperation between the Federal Council and the activities of the office in Ottawa. The members are the ultimate authority of the Green Party of Canada. We must move forward and adjust to Canadian politics, the next decade 2020 will be ours! Thank you for your trust.
