Constantine Kritsonis is a 25-year member and 7-time candidate who has over 30 years worth of small business acumen and six years of previous GPC council experience. Constantine was the GPC council's Ontario representative from 1994 to 2000 and a GPO council member from 2000 to 2002. Constantine's GPC candidacies include the campaigns of 1997, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2011 and 2015 in York Centre and one GPO candidacy in Oakwood in 1995.
Constantine's business experience includes 20 years as president of Action Courier Service, 8 years as marketing coordinator for Ultralite Solar and SHEC Energy, while currently on contract with Personalized Prescribing Inc., promoting life saving technologies that determine prescribed drug compatibility. Constantine has authored several GPC policies, engaged in green activism including starting * Green Party of Canada Supporters* Facebook group, organizing live demos demanding Elizabeth May's leader's debate inclusions and in 2000 Constantine brought activist icon Ralph Nader to speak at the U of T as part of Nader's campaign for the U.S. presidency under a Green Party banner. Constantine advocates:
A) Setting clear, realistic goals based on an understanding of party resources and the current political environment.
B) Increasing outreach to youth and diverse groups to encourage party growth and support our core value of diversity.
C) Increasing the transparency and accountability of party governance while empowering members with a greater role in making important decisions.
