Greens would cut the EI and CPP costs to employees and employers by one third, replacing those funds with charges on pollution. We need to give small business a break. Tax cuts to corporations do not create jobs. Using the government's own multipliers for the stimulus plan, that $3 billion in year one would create 6,500 jobs in infrastructure or 650 jobs if spent on tax cuts to corporations.
