We need to expedite family reunification for new Canadians.  We need to respect the needs to preserve the french language.  Nevertheless, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms applies in Quebec.  Issues of accommodation are difficult, but the foundational principles of respect and tolerance is key.

The Harper government has tampered with the immigration system.  It has moved from the fair approach we had before, to cherry-picking certain potential immigrants offering certain job skills.
