WHEREAS the Green Party of Canada is dedicated to deepening Canada's democracy; WHEREAS the Green Party of Canada has traditionally had unclear policy regarding Senate Reform; WHEREAS there is currently a strong initiative in place to begin electing Senators through a system that ensures proportional representation;
Motion Operative:
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Green Party of Canada supports the election of Senators through a system that ensures proportional representation.
