This is both an exciting and challenging time for the Green Party of Canada.  With Elizabeth May serving in the House of Commons, the Party is positioned   to prove that we can elect more MP's, to better represent the needs of our fellow Canadians. The challenges ahead are many, particularly, the Conservative majority's wish, to eliminate the support for public funding, for political parties.

The Party's Federal Council is a key element to dealing with those challenges. I have three key priorities that I would strive to achieve, as your Federal Council's Quebec Representative:

·         First, I would strengthen and increase membership, in the Green Party's Quebec Wing, through effective formation of new EDA's and identifying new potential donors.

·         Second, I would work to strengthen the presence of the French language with the Council.  I would work to enhance the availability of French materials, ensuring the translation of written materials is both timely and consistent.

·         Third, I commit to representing Quebec's unique political and cultural heritage by working closely with the Quebec Wing and EDA’s.

I was a founding member of the Jeanne-Le Ber EDA.  I participated in the formation of the Quebec Wing of the Green Party of Canada. I have governance experience having served on the boards of several corporations.  Currently, I am an active serving board member for the Borough of Verdun's, Municipal Dog Owners' Association (Verdun Canin). I have been an active member of the Party for the past three years. I furthered my commitment to the Green Party by running as a candidate in the last Federal Election.

I feel I have the experience needed to serve as your next representative on the Federal Council.

Thank you for your support.
