On September 21, Elizabeth May will join tens of thousands of concerned citizens from around the world in New York City for the People’s Climate March. They will be marching to show the world leaders assembled there for the 2014 UN Climate Summit that our planet cannot wait for more negotiations – we need climate action now.
Our itinerary for Sunday, September 21 will be as follows:
10:00 – 10:30 AM:
Meet at West 79th St. and Central Park West (in front of the Museum of Natural History) for a rally with US Greens, and a call to action from Green Leader Elizabeth May!
After the rally, make your way north a couple of blocks to join the rest of the Canadian marchers :
11:00 AM:
Meet at West 81st St. and Central Park West to march with the rest of the Canadian contingent
4:00 PM (Approximate):
March concludes on 11th Ave., between 34th Street and 38th Street

We’ll have some Green signs, banners and shirts, but please feel free to bring your own – the more the better!
And if you can, PLEASE WEAR GREEN – This will help us find each other at the march!
Be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen, water, and snacks, and wear comfortable shoes! Remember,the march is expected to end at approximately 4:00 PM, so be prepared to be on your feet for a while.
