Mississauga—Erin Mills

Andrew Roblin was born in North York, and raised alongside his two brothers by his mother and father in Aurora, Ontario. Andrew has decided to run as a candidate with the Green Party of Canada in 2015 because of their pragmatic policies on the environment, economy and social equality, and because of the strong and inspirational leadership demonstrated by Elizabeth May.

A graduate of York University's Environmental Studies and Anthropology Program, Andrew understands the importance of approaching issues from a multidisciplinary perspective. As a sitting member on the board of directors with the Sierra Club of Canada, Andrew seeks to emphasize the importance of education and outreach, to ensure Canadians are informed and have a say in the decision-making process.

Andrew believes that a community is best served when their elected representative is accountable to their constituents above all else. He believes the Green Party offers solutions to ensure communities are more resilient to economic, environmental and social changes, which in turn would improve quality of life for all Canadians.

Andrew hopes to contribute to the development of a healthy democracy, one where we not only encourage diversity, but celebrate it. He knows that encouraging diversity in our ecology, our economy, and our community, will give us the resilience and ability to adapt now and in the years ahead.

The Green Party of Canada is excited to have Andrew Roblin as our candidate in the riding of Mississauga–Erin Mills.
