Bruce Hyer, Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP (Thunder Bay - Superior North), will tour the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area by sailboat from August 9 to 11, 2015.
Mr. Hyer successfully sought and achieved unanimous consent in both the House of Commons and the Senate (June 22, 2015) for the passage of Bill C-61, The Lake Superior Marine Conservation Act.
The exact length of the trip will depend on winds.
