December 12 - Vigils, vigils everywhere
This Saturday, Greens across Canada will join with millions around the world to participate in local candlelight vigils to mark the mid-point in the intensive climate change negotiations taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark.
You can check out a list of vigils on our Events Page (http://www.greenparty.ca/events). If your city isn't listed, don't worry. Avaaz and 350.org will still have you covered. Just go to http://www.350.org/weekend to find your closest vigil, rally, or bell ringing.
Throughout the Climate Change Conference, Elizabeth May and Jacques Rivard will be posting blogs and video clips. Keep up to date at http://greenparty.ca/news/2009-09-14/copenhagen-december-2009
Peter Ormond, Green Party of Canada candidate for Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale, and Melanie Mullen, former Green Party of Ontario Deputy Leader, are also in Copenhagen and blogging at http://eco5ive.wordpress.com/subscribe/ and http://melaniemullen.com/
