Fluid Isolation
Fluid Isolation
Each drop's splash seen from the window up on high, the edge of the wind wafts past in wave fronts of rain
like wind in the long grass, flowing alternating shades of green
like sand collapsing to consume itself, or so it seems
like water coursing, etching patterns never to be seen
like dust devils, coalescing, dancing , darting, dispersing
like stars, van gogh like, swirling in the heavens above
like spiral galaxies, beaming, probably teeming with life
like water falls, turbulence cavorting in full stream
like fire, shifting , shining , reaching for the sky
from the window, warm and protected
like love and dreams

Physicists might be able to predict the onset of turbulence in controlled circumstances, but they can't do it on the sun for gravity storms and solar flares, or for predicting a waterfalls every drop and squirt when exposed to air. Its just not possible, Chaos theory and nonlinear navier stokes fluid mechanics are partly to blame, the equations just can't be solved in real time or at all even in non real time in any way that predicts the actual continuing flow of a river. The entire quality of the matter and energy involved, the texture of the rocks with moss on them and every grain of sand and pebble on the river bed, including erosion over time, just cannot be calculated. they can't predict the quantum wavefunction of more than 21 molecules of water at a time. See the paper by Gubbins of Cornell. The human brain is the best instrument , once trained, for assessing and appreciating these phenomena. Emergent patterns like clouds in weather and storms can be predicted in the near term by assessing front phenomena and temperature and moisture levels, but 5 or more days out is anybodies guess.
merry christmas all and the best spirit of the season to you all
