Remembering 9/11. Ignoring daily terrorism in Canada
Crime, Drugs, Guns. Shootings account for 30% of the murders in Canada.
A joint study in 2006 between U.S. and Canada, “Combatting Illicit Firearms”, simply ‘accepts’ that due to the ‘virtue’ of our proximity:
“the United States is the primary source of firearms - particularly handguns - smuggled into Canada.”
That illegal firearms are closely related to illegal drug activity. Diplomatically ignores the total absence of gun laws in the U.S. And it concludes with No targets and No measurable objectives for reducing this ‘unavoidable reality’.
While the Criminal Intelligence Service Canada (CISC) attempts to ‘download’ the issue to the community level:
“Organized crime is not simply a policing problem. It is a problem owned by all communities.”
How on earth can individual communities stop the incessant stream of illegal guns and drugs into our country?
While average Canadian shoppers crossing back into Canada from the U.S are routinely pulled aside, given the 3rd degree, and searched for buying goods over their limit, a flood of illegal hand-guns and drugs continue to pour across our borders.
Young people with no hope of jobs or education, are recruited into the fast money of criminal activity by organized crime syndicates whose headquarters are - in the U.S. Young runaway girls are forced by groups like the Hells Angels, into drug addicted prostitutes. And when they can no longer perform, taken to the northern woods, shot in the head and buried.
Compare this to the imaginary ‘terrorism’ that Americans pretend enters the U.S. from Canada - not one concrete example can be cited. While the horror of 9/11 happened in one place at one time in the most atrocious public display - this unihibited ‘culture of crime’ spreads across the face of Canada like a cancer, claiming victims every year.
Nevertheless Canadians are always ‘polite’, and so we cooperate with the U.S. to stop this totally fictional flow of terrorists from Canada into America. Harper stated recently he will with his majority, re-enact 9/11-based security laws that overrule our rights as free citizens and turn Canada into a police state at the flip of a switch – To Protect Us.
